The present English book series Raindrops for class 1 to 8, is based on National Education Policy (NEP 2020). It’s main aim is to encourage students to think and develop their reasoning power instead of memorizing facts. The course also covers Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with an intent to create awareness for a better and more sustainable future for all. With this new series of English, we hope to achieve great results for the children.
SALIENT FEATURES
Test Yourself lets the children revisit the lesson and grasp more from what has been taught in the lesson.
Word Rock helps the children increase their word power.
Gamming Grammar focusses on teaching different aspects of grammer and its rules.
Talk Back has the focus on listening carefully and responding in the appropriate way. The objective of this section is to improve the communication skills of the children.
Writing Hand puts emphasis on the importance of writing in English com- munication. Children have been provided the opportunity of writing the correct words and in the right context.
Punctuation section is there because it is important for the children to learn to use the correct punctuation otherwise the whole meaning of the language may change. Sound Better encourages children to speak with correct pronunciation as it makes it quick and easy for others to understand what we are trying to say.
Learning By Doing attempts to build up children’s confidence and help them think in a creative manner through a variety of activities.
Life Skills helps in building the overall personality of our children. We have taken care to inculcate good life skills and habits in this section.
